Rider Coach
Tim moved to Colorado in 1979 and grew up mostly in Arapahoe County. He served in the US Marine Corps before attending college and finally becoming a Border Patrol Agent and working in California beginning in 1992. Tim came home to Colorado in 1996 and later changed careers, becoming a Longmont Police Officer in 2001. Since 2002, Tim has been serving the Longmont Community as a Motor Officer, presently riding a 2006 Harley-Davidson Police Electra-Glide. He also rides a 1999 Harley Electra-Glide off duty and has ridden as far as New York.
In 2007, Tim felt the desire to serve the community by becoming a motorcycle insturctor in the Longmont area. Tim attended the MSF BRC at Niwot HS with Joe and Jim. While attending the BRC, he also completed an Experienced Rider Course, just to get the full experience. In 2008, Tim attended the Rider Coach Prep class in Denver and is now certified MSF and MOST Rider Coach.

Amanda Oldani

Amanda is a Colorado native. She started riding motorcycles in the vas rocky mountain trail system in 1985. In 1990 she took the MSF Basic Rider Course. She started racing Motocross and Supercross in 1993 with her 3 sons. In 2005 she attended the Rider Coach Prep Course. Her goal was to teach the Basic Rider Course.
She also traded in her ZL 600, KX 80 and her XR 200 for a Harley Davidson Dyna Super Glide and started touring.
In 2007 she took a 2 month solo trip touring the western states. Today she enjoys getting people
involved in motorcycle riding. She also has a tour company Ride-n-Buddi(www.ridenbuddies.com). That keeps her busy when she isn't teaching people how to ride. She is certified with MSF and MOST as a Rider Coach.

Jim Teryison

Jim moved to Colorado from Los Angeles, CA, in 1983, where he worked in the manufacturing business as a machinist/inspector and then in electronics. Jim now lives in Longmont and works in a hair salon as a hair stylist.
Jim’s passion has been riding motorcycles for over 30 years. He started with dirt bikes, then street bikes. After completing the MSF Basic Rider Course, Jim wanted to share his riding experiences with others as an instructor. Jim completed the MSF Instructional Preparation Course in 2006. He is certified with MSF and MOST as a Rider Coach.

Jay Titus

Jay Titus was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and moved to Cheyenne when he was three. He worked in the telecommunications industry from 1981 until 2006. Jay and his family moved to Firestone, Colorado in 1990. He still works in the high tech industry.
Jay went through the beginner rider course (BRC) in 1976 and again in 1996. He completed the Rider Coach course in 1998 and has been involved in training 3-5000 students. He has been riding for approximately 20 years. One of his expectations for every class is that the students have fun. He is certified with MSF and MOST as a Rider Coach.

Tina Toth

Tina is from Oklahoma and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in English, Creative Writing. She moved to Colorado in 1998 after graduating and works as a finance manager for Westcon Group, a technology distributor.
Riding Experience: One of Tina's earliest memories is being 5-years-old and having to wear a stocking cap under a helmet because it was too big. She grew up riding behind her dad, who rode any bike he could get his hands on, but she never rode on her own until she took the MSF BRC class in 2004. She started on a Kawasaki Ninja 500, moved to a Ninja 650, and now rides a Yamaha FZ1.
Tina loves weekend riding in the canyons as well as distance riding, and has obtained her Iron Butt Association number by going 1000 miles in 24 hours both as a passenger and as a pilot. She's taken two Real World Riding classes from Ricky Orlando, as well as Lee Parks Total Control class. She is certified with MSF and MOST as a Rider Coach.

Charlotte Wallace

Charlotte is a native of Colorado. She owned a Children’s Day Care Center for 27 years. She is currently working in the St. Vrain School District as Head Custodian at Niwot Elementary School. She has been employed in this position since 1993.
Charlotte has been riding motorcycles over 18 years and has been involved in the training of over 3000 motorcycle students since 1997. She completed the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic and Experienced courses and completed the MSF Instructional Preparation Course in 1997. She is certified with MSF and MOST as a Rider Coach.

Co-Owner & Rider Coach (Deceased) We are very sad to inform you that Jay passed away on March 21, 2009. He will truly be missed as he was an icon not only to our program but to all of the motorcycle training community.
Harry “Jay” was a native of Colorado. He was born in Longmont, CO, and with the exception of serving in the Navy from 1963 to 1968, he has lived within this community his entire life. He joined the United States Navy as a Reserve in 1962 and became active in 1963. He served in Viet Nam in 1965 and 1966; and was Honorably Discharged from active duty in 1968.
Jay had ridden motorcycles over 45 years and had been involved in the training of over 4000 motorcycle students since 1992. He completed the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic and Experienced courses in 1988 and completed the MSF Instructional Preparation Course in 1992. He was certified with MSF and MOST as a Rider Coach.

Jeri came to Colorado in 1999 from Chicago, Illinois. While working over 15 years in various Hospitals and Clinics as a Radiologic Technologist, she was last employed as a Project Manager, coordinating the telecommunication needs for Advocate Hospitals and Clinics. Prior to this, she was Manager of Communications within Northwestern University Hospital’s Department of Telecommunications.

Joseph Wander

Joe comes to Colorado via Chicago, Illinois, where he was employed at the University of Illinois Medical Center. After obtaining his degree from the University of Alabama, he coordinated the development of the Radiologic Technology Program at the University of Illinois Hospital. After serving in this position for five years, he was promoted to the position of Administrative Director in the Department of Radiology. He served in this management position over 25 years, where his principle duties were the administration and business functions of the department.
In 1999, Joe retired from the University of Illinois and relocated to Longmont, CO. Joe has ridden motorcycles over 15 years and has been involved in the training of motorcycle students since 2002. He completed the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic Rider course in 2000 and completed the MSF Instructional Preparation Course in 2004. He is certified with MSF and MOST as a Rider Coach.
